Growing up in the 80's had such an impact with how I became to love real estate. Many new homes and neighborhoods were coming up during these years. My parents would take their weekends to go and explore all the new construction sites close by. I can't tell you how many homes we walked through that had still been in the framing stages. That's really where it all began for me. When I was 14 my uncle asked me to go to work with him during the summer breaks. He was a residential property inspector during this time. He ended up having his business for over 30 years. Trust me, if you knew the hard work those guys put in, you would know that's an amazing accomplishment. Try crawling in attics and on roofs during the Houston summers. It was brutal! For me, I loved helping him. I got to learn so much of what goes into the structure of building homes and how to properly maintain homes to prevent deterioration. Of course, with a family history of loving to see new homes and having an uncle in the business of home inspections, there's only one thing going through my mind. I wanted to be in real estate somehow some way. This is my passion!
